Visual Arts at Ashdale Primary School incorporates art, craft and design. Our program engages students in a journey of self-discovery, exploration, problem solving, skill building, technique development, enjoyment and appreciation of visual arts.

Primary visual arts plays an important role in developing children’s fine motor skills that then adds to their creative enjoyment. Specialist facilities offers maximum opportunity for the full potential of the visual arts curriculum to be developed. Students at Ashdale are taught drawing, painting, printmaking, sewing, construction and clay sculpture focusing on creativity, individuality and self-expression.
