School Nurse

The school has access to a school nurse who carries out School entry health assessments and targeted vision and hearing assessments relating to specific year groups throughout the school year. The school nurse may also deliver health education to the older years and may be involved in health promotion activities within the school as needed. At all times families will be informed of any possible contact with the school nurse relevant to the particular screening involved. Please contact your child’s teacher if you wish to discuss any concerns regarding your child’s health. Specific health issues can impact on the overall physical, emotional, social and academic development of all students and should be dealt with as soon as possible. Confidentiality is always respected.
